As you said, it seems like 元 wasn't tested on Windows. I've been playing with it on Windows, creating a catalog and editing some images. I can't believe it's being sold as a finalized piece of software. I am convinced it has not even been tested on PC at all, because I've tried 3 different systems, including a ridiculously high-spec one with 16-core Threadripper CPU and 32 gigs of memory. I hear it works fine on Macs, but it is totally unusable on Windows. If I ever close the editor, I won't be able to come back to the same image again, because Luminar just won't load the edited photo and the tools will stay inactive. Even if I get lucky and I am allowed to actually edit something, I can only do it once. Because most of the time the photo isn't even loaded in full-res at all and the editing tools stay inactive. It is slow to load, slow to index files, slow to display previews, slow to load the editing features. Honestly, this is THE worst performing piece of software I have seen in years.
